Make London your home. CCSA’s three-week program enables you to experience the great city while earning 3 or 6 hours of credit along with faculty and students from other CCSA member schools. Beyond the classroom and field trips, the schedule will enable you to explore the world outside of London on weekends.

An added fee of $700 will be assessed for the second 3 credit-hour course. This added course fee is non-refundable beyond the first payment deadline. Housing
Participants in CCSA’s London Summer Program will reside at the Royal National Hotel. This unique and lively hotel is located in the heart of Russell Square and Bloomsbury, near Euston and Kings Cross. The Royal National’s location is perfect for exploring the capital’s famous landmarks, such as the British Museum, Oxford Street, Theatreland, Kings Cross, St Pancras and Euston.
In the middle of central London there is a quiet, green rectangle called Bloomsbury. The area is a microcosm of museums, trees, cafés, bookstores, and the historic home of artists and academics. Bloomsbury has a reputation as London’s most learned quarter, dominated by the dual institutions of the British Museum and the University of London. It is perhaps best-known internationally for the long list of former literary inhabitants, among them Virginia Woolf, TS Eliot and Charles Dickens. Though the pretty Georgian squares and streets sit well within the boundaries of central London, Bloomsbury has all the perks of village life.
Several green spaces are nearby the hotel, including Russell Square and a number of smaller squares (Gordon Square, Tavistock Square Gardens and more). The hotel runs and manages an onsite restaurant (Blooms Pizza Cafe) and pub (London Pub in Bloomsbury). The Brunswick Centre (Boots, Sainsbury’s, Superdrug, Brunswick Medical Centre and more) is nearby the Russell Square tube station (5-minute walk). A Pret A Manger is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, and Starbucks outside the Warren Street tube station is just 12 minutes away.
The Royal National is a short walk of less than 5 minutes from Russell Square tube station on the Picadilly Line. Just 10 minutes away are Euston Square (Circle, Hammersmith and Metropolitan Lines), Euston (Overland and trains) and Goodge Street (Northern Line).
Hotel Amenities
Students will be housed in twin-share bedrooms, which feature:
No laundry service is available in the hotel. However, Smart Line Dry Cleaners and Marchmont Dry Cleaners and just a 4-minute walk.
