Application Timeline

Participants from CCSA Institutions

All participants on CCSA programs must complete an application on our Application Portal (Via). Note that if your home university also uses Via for their applicaiton process, you will need to create a new account with a personal email address.

• Answer the intake questions.
• Choose a course - you can search for a specific class or browse them all!
• Complete all required fields (with a red asterisk) of the course application - even if you do not yet have a passport.
• Pay the $200 deposit (or $150 if paid before the Early Registration date).

Campus Approval

• Please ensure you have started a study abroad application with your home campus study abroad office. If your application is approved by your home campus you will be automatically notified via email.
• Campus approval may take up to two weeks, so apply as soon as possible.

Participants from non-CCSA Institutions

In addition to the items required for participants from CCSA institutions you will need to provide the following with your application:

• Academic Approval Form - signed by either the study abroad office or your academic advisor at your institution
• Faculty Recommendation - Brief recommendation addressing your ability to commit to and complete a short study abroad program
• Official Transcript

Approved (Course Confirmed)

You are approved and the course is a go. Congratulations! Your application will now indicate Applicant Approved (Course Confirmed) at the top when logged in. Time to start getting prepared for your trip.

Waitlist

You are waitlisted by order of program deposit paid. Don't be discouraged! Most of our applicants who end up on a waitlist end up obtaining a spot in a course. You are welcome to:

1. Switch to a course that does not have a waitlist.
2. Stay on the waitlist for your course. Spots often become available as participants drop or neglect to pay their deposit.
