Prof. Wille is Associate Professor of Art and Division Chair of Art and Education at Eureka College in central Illinois. As an artist his work is inspired by technology, science fiction, warfare, and dystopian themes. These themes are also investigating systems of control. He takes these concepts and put them in a context so that the viewer may see new perspectives on the military and political decisions of the present. As a member of the Artist Collective Sphere, Prof. Wille's work has broadened to give data physical form. Prof. Wille is excited to explore the rich history of London's art scene.

This course offers a unique chance for visual arts students to explore the city's wealth of museums and galleries, each serving as a gateway to understanding the power and significance of art throughout the ages. We will investigate the rich tapestry of artistic expression by examining how today's contemporary artists engage with and reinterpret works from the past and across diverse cultures.
Prepare to be inspired as we visit iconic institutions such as the British Museum, the National Gallery, the Royal Academy of Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Tate Gallery. You'll witness firsthand the evolution of art while engaging with the dynamic contemporary art scene that flourishes in London's galleries and public spaces. This immersive experience will deepen your appreciation of art's role in society and enhance your understanding of its relevance in today's world. Join us as we uncover the connections between past and present and celebrate the ongoing conversation that art sparks across time and cultures!

None

Physical Activity Requirements:
During this course, we will visit many museums and galleries and view their collections. This will involve long periods of walking and standing (5+ miles a day possible). Please come prepared with good walking shoes and appropriate attire.
