Carol Stewart teaches courses in theatre and the humanities at the University of Louisville, including classes in foundation courses in humanities, creativity and the arts, acting, radio drama, performance theory, script analysis, and prison theatre. She also teaches courses at Bellarmine University, including a senior seminar in social justice and a class in the history of musical theatre. Summer 2018 will be her fourth time teaching the London Summer 4-week course for CCSA. She has traveled through Norway, Ireland, Italy, Japan, India, Ecuador, Peru, and throughout the UK. Carol earned her BFA at the Goodman School of Drama and an MA at the University of Louisville; she is currently a doctoral candidate in Interdisciplinary Humanities at UofL. Her areas of research and artistic practice are focused on podcasting and radio drama, creative flow and the experience of the actor; Shakespeare in translation; and Shakespeare with non-traditional artists, including the incarcerated and the aging.
