Course Description:
Use photography to share a new view of the world. Learn technical and aesthetic skills of photography while exploring London and Dublin. Through field trips, walking excursions, and creative assignments, students will incorporate both photography and social media to visually document their experience. Students will construct a portfolio, a creative blog, and utilize social media as platform for sharing their work. During this program, students will learn about the historical and contemporary culture of these two cities and how it informs visual arts. Students will also visit famous grave sites, world renowned art museums, and galleries.

Physical Activity Requirements:
Students will need to pack and dress appropriately for this proposed course as it will be expected to walk on a daily basis. It may also be noted that January is the coldest month of the season for both London and Dublin with average temperatures ranging from 40-60 degrees Fahrenheit. December is the wettest month for London so students should expect having to potentially face wet and cold walking conditions. Daily walking in both cities will range from 3-5 miles a day.
